Organist, pianist, conductor and high school teacher Andrea Pedrazzini, born in Bellinzona in 1992, began studying piano at the Vivaldi Academy in Locarno at the age of six with Francesca Rivabene and then with maestro Michele Fedrigotti.
During his scientific high school studies, he continued studying the instrument with maestro Leonardo Leonardi, a teacher for over 40 years at the Milan Conservatory, and theory with maestro Sergio Bianchi, taking the exams as a private student at the “Giuseppe Verdi” Conservatory in Milan. In 2012, after the scientific high school diploma, he graduated in piano at the Conservatory of Brescia “Luca Marenzio” at the age of 19.
<\/span>He started playing organ at the age of nine, as a self-taught organist he began to accompany the liturgical celebrations at the Sanctuary of the Madonna del Sasso in Orselina. In September 2017 he began a course of study and improvement at the Conservatory of Italian Switzerland in Lugano with maestro Stefano Molardi obtaining in 2019 the Master in Organ Performance. As director he continues his studies at <\/span>ZHdK <\/i>(Arts University in Zurich) with Markus Utz and Daniel Schmid.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

He continues his training as a musician and choir director following specialization courses and masterclasses with various teachers, including Michael Radulescu, Luisa Castellani, Davide Fior, Diego Castellani and Luca Scandali.\u00a0Over the years he has played not only as a solo organist and pianist, but also with chamber groups and orchestras in various concert festivals in Switzerland and abroad. He has played and collaborated with various vocal formations both in concert performances and in recordings, performing and recording world premieres especially of Swiss composers.<\/span><\/p>

The approach to more recent instruments such as the Hammond organ or synthesizers pushes him to explore new genres of music, including jazz and rock. Researching new sounds has led him to perform in concert events and record albums and EPs.<\/span><\/p>

He regularly gives concerts as a soloist in Switzerland (International Organ Festival of Magadino, Antegnati Festival of Bellinzona, Zurich, Schaffhausen), Italy (Milan, Varese, Piacenza, Veneto), France (S. Sulpice in Paris, Chamonix Festival, Argenti\u00e8re), Germany (Speyer Cathedral, Ulm Cathedral), Luxembourg (Bruckner Festival in Dudelange), Romania (Bucharest Organ Festival). Particular attention is given to improvisation, often present in organ concert performances.
<\/span>In 2022 Andrea Pedrazzini founds <\/span>Luceat <\/i>in Locarno; a choir and orchestra formation which aims to promote the development of the cultural sector with musicians and singers of different generations and diverse musical training. As artistic and musical director of Luceat, he organises regular concerts and accompanies Christmas and Easter Masses at the Collegiata in Locarno. In 2023 he records pieces by Franck, Widor and Durufl\u00e9 on the French symphonic style organ in Brione s. Minusio, to be published in the near future. In honor of the 150<\/span>th<\/sup> anniversary of the birth of Max Reger (1873-2023), he records some of his compositions on historical instruments of the German Romantic School, including two <\/span>Choralfantasien <\/i>which were also broadcasted by the Swiss Radio Television (RSI).<\/span><\/p>

As titular organist at the Collegiate Church S. Antonio Abate in Locarno, in 2017 together with Ilic Colzani, organ builder of the Veneranda Fabbrica del Duomo in Milan and former president of the Italian Organ Builders Association, he designed and built the restoration and expansion of the organ in the parish church of Brione s. Minusio of which he is also titular organist. On these instruments he organizes concerts of high artistic value, hosting important international concert artists year after year.<\/p>

Alongside his training activity, he combines his professional career as a qualified federal accountant and music teacher at the cantonal high school of Bellinzona and the cantonal high school of Lugano 1 and the cantonal high school of Lugano 2 where he is also director of the choir and orchestra with which he performed in concert at the LAC in Lugano and La Salle de Musique in La Chaux-de-Fonds. Organista, pianista, direttore e docente Andrea Pedrazzini, nato a Bellinzona nel 1992, inizia lo studio del pianoforte presso l\u2019Accademia Vivaldi di Locarno all\u2019et\u00e0 di sei anni con Francesca Rivabene e poi con il maestro Michele Fedrigotti.<\/p>

Prosegue lo studio dello strumento con il maestro Leonardo Leonardi, docente per oltre 40 anni presso il Conservatorio di Milano, e della teoria con il maestro Sergio Bianchi sostenendo quale privatista presso il Conservatorio \u201cGiuseppe Verdi\u201d di Milano gli esami teorici e strumentali. Nel 2012, dopo la maturit\u00e0 scientifica, si diploma in pianoforte presso il Conservatorio di Brescia \u201cLuca Marenzio\u201d all\u2019et\u00e0 di 19 anni.
La passione per l\u2019organo nasce invece a nove anni. A settembre 2017 inizia un percorso di studio e perfezionamento presso il Conservatorio della Svizzera Italiana di Lugano con il maestro Stefano Molardi ottenendo nel 2019 il Master in Performance in organo. Come direttore si perfeziona alla ZHdK (Universit\u00e0 delle Arti di Zurigo) con Markus Utz e Daniel Schmid. Al fine di approfondire la sua formazione come musicista e interprete, segue corsi e masterclasses con vari maestri, fra cui Michael Radulescu, Luisa Castellani, Luca Scandali.<\/p>

Nel corso degli anni ha suonato, oltre che come organista e pianista solista, anche con gruppi da camera e orchestre in diverse rassegne concertistiche in Svizzera e all\u2019estero. Tiene regolarmente concerti come solista in importanti Festival in Svizzera (Grossm\u00fcnster di Zurigo, Sciaffusa, Svitto, Festival Internazionale organistico di Magadino, Festival Antegnati di Bellinzona) e all\u2019estero fra cui S. Sulpice a Parigi, Duomo di Ulm, KathedralKl\u00e4nge a Speyer in Germania, Bucharest Organ Festival in Romania, Festival Anton Bruckner di Dudelange in Lussemburgo, Festival di Chamonix in Francia, e vari Festival in Lombardia, Piemonte, Marche, Trentino e Veneto. Attenzione particolare viene data all\u2019improvvisazione, spesso presente nelle esecuzioni concertistiche all\u2019organo.<\/p>

Nel 2022 Andrea Pedrazzini fonda a Locarno Luceat<\/em> (lat. splendere, brillare), una formazione corale e orchestrale che desidera favorire lo sviluppo del settore culturale con musicisti e cantanti di generazioni diverse e formazioni musicali eterogenee; con Luceat<\/em> si produce regolarmente in concerto. Nel 2023 incide opere di Franck, Widor e Durufl\u00e9 all\u2019organo in stile sinfonico francese di Brione s. Minusio e in occasione del 150\u00ba anniversario della nascita di Max Reger (1873-2023), registra su strumenti storici di scuola romantica tedesca alcune sue opere, fra cui alcune Fantasie sui Corali diffuse in seguito anche dalla Radiotelevisione Svizzera (RSI).<\/p>

Gi\u00e0 organista presso la Collegiata S. Antonio Abate di Locarno, nel 2017 assieme ad Ilic Colzani, organaro della Veneranda Fabbrica del Duomo di Milano e gi\u00e0 presidente dell\u2019Associazione Italiana Organari, ha progettato e realizzato il restauro e ampliamento dell\u2019organo della Parrocchiale di Brione s. Minusio del quale \u00e8 pure organista titolare. Su questi strumenti organizza concerti di elevato valore artistico, ospitando di anno in anno importanti concertisti internazionali.
All\u2019attivit\u00e0 concertistica affianca quella didattica come docente di musica presso il Liceo cantonale di Lugano dove \u00e8 anche direttore del coro e dell\u2019orchestra con i quali si \u00e8 esibito in concerto presso LAC di Lugano e La Salle de Musique a La Chaux-de-Fonds.<\/p>

Organist, Pianist, Gymnasiallehrer Andrea Pedrazzini, geboren 1992 in Bellinzona, begann im Alter von sechs Jahren mit dem Klavierstudium an der Vivaldi-Akademie in Locarno. W\u00e4hrend seines wissenschaftlichen Gymnasiums setzte er sein Instrumentalstudium bei Michele Fedrigotti und vor allem bei Leonardo Leonardi fort, der \u00fcber 40 Jahre lang am Mail\u00e4nder Konservatorium unterrichtete, und in Harmonielehre bei Sergio Bianchi, wobei er am Konservatorium “Giuseppe Verdi” in Mailand theoretische und instrumentale Pr\u00fcfungen ablegte. Im Jahr 2012, nach dem Abitur, werbe er im Alter von 19 Jahren den Konzertabschluss in Klavier am Konservatorium \u201eLuca Marenzio\u201c in Brescia er.<\/p>

Die Leidenschaft f\u00fcr die Orgel wurde im Alter von neun Jahren geboren, als Andrea Pedrazzini als Autodidakt begann, die liturgischen Feiern im Heiligtum der Madonna del Sasso in Orselina zu begleiten. Im September 2017 begann er einen Studien- und Spezialisierungskurs am Konservatorium der italienischen Schweiz in Lugano bei Maestro Stefano Molardi und erhielt 2019 den Master in Performance in Orgel. Als Leiter setzt er sein Studium an der Z\u00fcrcher Hochschule der K\u00fcnste mit Markus Utz und Daniel Schmid fort. Zur Vertiefung seiner Ausbildung als Musiker und Interpret, besuch er Spezialisierungskurse und Masterclasses bei verschiedenen Meistern, darunter Michael Radulescu, Luca Scandali, Luisa Castellani und Davide Fior.<\/p>

Im Laufe der Jahre spielte er nicht nur als Organist und Solopianist, sondern auch mit Kammerensembles und Orchestern in diversen Konzertkritiken im In- und Ausland. Er hat mit verschiedenen Vokalensembles sowohl bei Konzertauff\u00fchrungen als auch bei Aufnahmen gespielt und mit ihnen zusammengearbeitet, wobei er erste absolute Auff\u00fchrungen insbesondere von Schweizer Komponisten auff\u00fchrte und aufnahm. Die Ann\u00e4herung an neuere Musikinstrumente wie die Hammond-Orgel oder Synthesizer treibt ihn dazu, neue Musikgenres zu erforschen, darunter Jazz und Rock. Die Suche nach neuen Kl\u00e4ngen f\u00fchrte ihn zu Konzertauftritten und Mitwirkung bei der Aufnahme von Alben und EPs.<\/p>

Er gibt regelm\u00e4\u00dfig Konzerte als Solist in der Schweiz (Magadino International Organ Festival, Antegnati Festival of Bellinzona, Schaffhauser Orgelkonzerte, Grossm\u00fcnster Z\u00fcrich), Italien (Mailand, Varese, Piacenza, Venetien, Trentino-S\u00fcdtirol), Frankreich (S. Sulpice Paris, Chamonix), Deutschland (Dom zu Speyer, Ulmer Dom), Luxemburg (Dudelange), Romania (Bucharest Organ Festival). Besonderes Augenmerk wird auf die Improvisation gelegt, die oft in Orgelkonzertauff\u00fchrungen vorhanden ist.<\/p>

2022 gr\u00fcndete Andrea Pedrazzini in Locarno das Luceat Ensemble (lat. gl\u00e4nzen, strahlen), dessen Leiter er auch ist: mit diesem Chor und Orchester organisiert er Weihnachts- und Osterkonzerte und begleitet die Gottesdienste. Im Jahr 2023 nahm Andrea Pedrazzini Werke von Franck, Widor und Durufl\u00e9 in Brione S. Minusio f\u00fcr eine zuk\u00fcnftige Ver\u00f6ffentlichung auf. Zum 150. Jubil\u00e4um von Max Reger hat er Choralfantasien und Choralvorspielen auf verschiedenen historischen deutschromantischen Orgeln aufgenommen, die auch bei der Schweizer Radio ausgestrahlt wurden.<\/p>

Als ehemaliger Organist an der Collegiata S. Antonio Abate in Locarno konzipierte und realisierte er 2017 zusammen mit Ilic Colzani, Orgelbauer der Veneranda Fabbrica del Duomo in Mailand und ehemaliger Pr\u00e4sident des italienischen Orgelbauverbandes, die Restaurierung und Erweiterung der Orgel der Pfarrkirche von Brione s. Minusio, dessen Titularorganist er auch ist. Auf diesen Instrumenten organisiert es als k\u00fcnstlerischer Leiter des Vereins der Orgelfreunde von Locarno Konzerte von hohem k\u00fcnstlerischem Wert und empf\u00e4ngt von Jahr zu Jahr bedeutende internationale Konzertk\u00fcnstler. Neben seiner Konzertt\u00e4tigkeit arbeitet er als eidgen\u00f6ssisch diplomierter Buchhalter und Musiklehrer am Kantongymnasyum in Lugano, wo er auch Leiter von Chor und Orchester ist, mit denen er konzertant im LAC in Lugano und im La Salle de Musique in La Chaux-de-Fonds auftrat.<\/p>
